Brit Brouillard

Brit began his journey with Johnston & Brouillard, P.A. in September 2021, when the firm was known as Johnston Law Office, P.A. As of January 2025, Brit D. Brouillard serves as the President of the firm.

Brit was raised in Park River, ND, a small town located in the Red River Valley. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He then relocated to Syracuse, New York, where he received his juris doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. During his final year of law school, Brit made the wonderful decision of moving back to Minnesota to begin his career as an attorney, which is what led him to move to the beautiful Alexandria area.

Brit concentrates his practice in commercial and residential real estate transactions, development, and disputes; business acquisitions, entity formation, and general counsel; general banking representation and foreclosures; estate planning; and real estate litigation. 

Brit is a seasoned attorney who prides himself on his ability to handle complex and contentious situations strategically and efficiently; he is also diligent in his communications with clients, ensuring that the goals of his clients are aligned with the strategy and objectives of their case. 

When Brit isn’t working, he spends his time with his wife, family, and friends on the Chain of Lakes in Alexandria, reading, or golfing.
